This raised concerns about whether the clippers or products used were properly cleaned or sanitized. Due to the reaction, I now have to take him to urgent care, which is very concerning. Paying $35 for a haircut for a child is already high, but the lack of proper sanitation makes this experience especially disappointing.
Cleanliness and safety should be a priority, especially when servicing children. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience.
I walked in without an appointment and called beforehand, and I was told that walk-ins were accepted. However, I was attended by someone who appeared to be new or still in training. The haircut was poorly done and very uncomfortable. From the way he handled the clippers, it was clear that I was with the wrong person.
In the end, my head had to be completely shaved because the haircut was not acceptable at all and far below any professional standard.
What made the situation worse is that I was charged twice: $30 for the bad haircut and another $30 for shaving my head after the mess that was made.
That said, I want to be fair. There are two people at this shop who are very good at what they do and clearly know their work. Unfortunately, my experience was not with them, and because of what happened, my overall experience was very poor.
I showed a picture of what I wanted and they did it exactly how I asked — even better.
They take their time, they listen, and they make sure you walk out happy.
Definitely one of the best barbershops in the area. I’ll be coming back for sure. Highly recommended.
